Doctors On Call Service was founded in 1998 to service the medical needs of Central Florida visitors.  The company was started in response to complaints people had concerning the long wait times and the aggravation sometimes experienced when they went to area walk-in clinics and hospital emergency rooms.  At these facilities, which treat local residents as well as visitors, the special needs unique to travelers were often ignored.  Visitors were simply not considered to be ‘special’.

 

At Doctors On Call Service we realized from the beginning, that because all of our patients are away from home, travelling—they really are special!   We treat people in hotel rooms.  We know many of them have limited time and limited resources, and we understand that.  We help our patients and their families in every way possible, always taking into account the unique needs and desires they face as visitors in our city.  Being sick is never fun.  Away from home it can be agonizing.  Doctors On Call Service makes it easy!  We make being sick just what it should be—nothing more than a minor inconvenience— just a little ‘bump in the road’.  We provide world-class services, and remain always focused on saving our patients time, energy—and yes, money— but we’ll never sacrifice the quality of our medical care for the sake of convenience.
